Congress amazes me by their brashness, lack of common sense, decency and dishonesty. This government will continue to legislate through bureaucrats and CZARS. Why do we willingly give a way our liberties? We need to stop the insanity that believes government knows better than Main Street(the people).

I think I can no longer be amazed by Washington so they...

The question should be :"Is there intelligent lie in Congress"? Are we so mind numbed that we just allow those ingrates in DC to do what they want. This "lame duck" Congress has been busy with "Don't ask don't tell", the attempt to give illegals a benefits for education and a path to citizenship, the arms "Start" treaty with the soviets and the backdoor approach to limit and monitor the internet thru the FCC and of course the brouhaha over the tax issues and the desire to increase substantially the estate tax.
God help us and the new congress please repeal these things!!

Time is close if we are steadfast...we will overcome

November 2 is an important day to begin the process to change the trend downward that our country is suffering. We have seen some of he dirtiest politics ever seen. Dirty politics seem to be the SOP of the Democrats from the Oval office down. We must not allow the SOP of the Dems and the complicity of the media to stop the revolution. It's getting really scary out there

I haven't posted for a long while because the Obama agenda is escalating and it is scary. Look at the DOJ and the black panthers and the pushing of their immigration plans and their constant aggressive behavior against Arizona and pro-illegals stance. Then they are constantly pushing for a job killing energy bill and a misguided financial industry bill and the oil spill. What is really scary is that they have hindered the clean up maybe not thru incompetence but rather on purpose to kill the oil energy.

There is more but I don't have time for it all now. It is scary because it seems to be planned destruction of America's greatest values and assets.

My daughter sent this email and following is my response

Beginning 2011: Aggregate cost of employer coverage for employees health care cost is to be included on the employees W-2.

The part that angers me the most about this statement is it means basically that because my employer pays a portion of my insurance premiums I will now be taxed on the premiums my employer pays annually. This will now show up on my W2 and it will look as if I have a pay increase when in fact I will not have any additional funds coming into my checking account on a monthly basis. Yep so in the grand scheme of things I will actually be taking a pay cut because I will be paying more taxes each pay period. You just have to love our government!

Thank the great B.O. and his Democratic cronies. Some will also have an increase in additional taxes because it will put some in a higher tax bracket and we will( all who pay taxes)be paying higher taxes anyway.

On this afternoon's program. Get it. Record the repeat in the am and watch. I'll paraphrase: The same person that signed a bill to require you have health care can ask you to prove you are legal yet can not ask for your papers to show that you are in the country legally.

B.O. wants to protect illegals

B.O. immediate response to Arizona's desire to close the state's borders was to ask his administration to find out if the illegal rights are being violated. Something stinks here. Illegals have rights!? They obviously do in the B.O. administration because this is the next great Democratic voting block if their national immigration reform takes place.

If Chris Dodd and Sherwood Brown (our less than illustrious Senator from Ohio who never votes against any left-wing idea) is FOR the Wall Street reform-then I'm against it. Why create another big agency for the government when we have one now not doing it's work in the SEC. Why not simply reform the SEC-fire the bunch of them, anyone checking for porn on government time.

B.O. has a Summit today to promote BUSINESS in the Muslim World

Is something wrong here? The actions of this President reminds me of some bizarro world where things are backwards. This guy is systematically destroying business in this country and NOW he is having a summit supporting business in 50 muslim countries.

This congress gave us healthcare but the Prez and his minions are interested in stopping because they know their power will cease in November. I haven't posted for a while but I have to say this President is seeking to destroy free enterprise by his speech and visit to Wall Street today. How much of our (former) capitalistic system will big government own? Watch out-the main tenet of socialism IS BIG GOVERNMENT and by his speech and the Democratic senate works we are witnessing it as they seek to take over the banking industry while NOT INCLUDING Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae whose non-government oversight brought our financial troubles about.

The second plan might happen Monday as the democrats with the help of Lindsey Graham, Republican in name only will push TAX & CAP which will do to the energy and to us all that which the GREAT B.O. plans to do to the banks and Wall Street.

Did I tell you that B.O. (our prez) is my nephew Williams name for him-because everything he does "stinks". Oh, I haven't even mentioned their plans to buy votes with immigration reform.

Healthcare Reform is a lie!

The lie is that there is no reform of healthcare but rather a complete overhaul of the insurance industry. Tell the President and the congress to stop this farce! The President wants to fundamentally change America for the worse. Once we lose the best healthcare system in the world it will be gone forever. Taxes will go up immediately. Say no to the Presidential and Congressional lies.

Tell me where the sense is?

Our prez (little p to indicate his ability, sense and common sense)is focusing on healthcare which is political speak for increasing government and destroying the private sector (the Insurance Companies) while in the month of February the gov't(public sector) grew 7,000 jobs and the private sector lost 36,000 jobs. Why are we growing gov't.? In the prez's first year in the job he grew gov't jobs by 17 % with an average salary of $70,000-this is way above the private sector averages.

So tell me why in heaven's name is this prez not legitimately seeking to increase business opportunities instead of systematically destroying business through healthcare and the energy tax? I am angered by this. I am angered by the Washington elite not listening and I fear for this country. This prez will end up making Jimmy Carter look like a good president. I remember those days and Jimmy Carter was" a Sorry President" with a capital P and is worse even today as a representative of the USA around the globe.

What Obama is doing is what he said he would do when he would fundamentality change America.

He understands military law better than you and anyone with a grain of sense understands the condescending attitude the VP presented, but that’s ok. I know the Global Warming fanatics are going crazy and are trying to change in the emphasis from Global Warming to "Climate Change" and what about the reversals, falsifying info and calling it science nature has thrown mud in their eyes.
I grew up 100 miles from DC. We never had a winter like the one Virginia, NC and DC is experiencing. Why should we celebrate this storm? Congress is shut down. They can't do the damage if they are not there. Wow. Congress serves the nation well when they do nothing. This President and Democrat controlled Congress is a curse on this nation.

What a week!

Possibly I should say, "What an event"! Scott Brown wins in the Kennedy state what was presumed to be a Kennedy seat by a person against the Healthcare Reform bull and against the President's stand on terrorism. There is a God in heaven! This is enough to make atheists convert. Then to watch the Democrats/liberals/leftists and the President and his men respond. Does make you wonder what planet the President is living on. Take heart and be aware- the fight is not over.
