Beginning 2011: Aggregate cost of employer coverage for employees health care cost is to be included on the employees W-2.
The part that angers me the most about this statement is it means basically that because my employer pays a portion of my insurance premiums I will now be taxed on the premiums my employer pays annually. This will now show up on my W2 and it will look as if I have a pay increase when in fact I will not have any additional funds coming into my checking account on a monthly basis. Yep so in the grand scheme of things I will actually be taking a pay cut because I will be paying more taxes each pay period. You just have to love our government!
Thank the great B.O. and his Democratic cronies. Some will also have an increase in additional taxes because it will put some in a higher tax bracket and we will( all who pay taxes)be paying higher taxes anyway.
