Let us never forget 9/11

I have been watching FNC's remembrances of 9/11. These 8 yrs. later t is still almost unbelievable. Acts of terrorism followed by acts of bravery. Acts of cowards contrasted with heros. Remember the dancing in the streets in the Middle East and the contrast that with the people running from the towers as they fell, the people at the Pentagon and the brave, brave people of Flight 93.

We must never, never, never forget. I tell you the problems in our country are closely linked to those who have either forgotten or who absolutely do not care or at the least care little. God help us renew the Spirit of America
that has driven this nation to best the greatest around the world.

It is absolutely offensive to me that the President calls for a "service" day to commemorate this day when what we need to do is simply remember this day. Service is no new thing to America, it is what this country is all about. Whether by church missionaries the globe, Doctors without borders, the giving of monies, the peace corp or a multitude of things too numerous to number service is what our nation has demonstrated as no other. Where has this President been? We lack not in sacrifices but we are beginning to lack in the Spirit of America. It is simply sad. The purpose of this day is to be remembered now. To let us not forget that we have enemies who despise us and seek us harm.
