The Prez was in Cincy over the weekend with his Union buddies promoting his healthcare plan because it doesn't matter since the union has a special exemption from the Gov't plan anyway and the union bosses are in the tank for the Prez and the union leader of the AFL-CIO at the event said that "we need to keep the insurance companies honest". My question is : When have the unions ever been touted as honest? Another question. Is the Prez being honest when he says that we can add 40 - 50 million more to the healthcare rolls and the Gov't will SAVE money and that if we don't pass healthcare then our economy will be destroyed. The Prez is doing that without the addition of healthcare reform.

The Prez talked tough around his cronies and talks about the "lies" and the "Special interest" who oppose his plans. Remember that this all started as Health care reform and now it is "let us destroy the evil insurance companies" and call it reform. We saw this in 1993 when Hillary Clinton said she didn't want some little person at the insurance company determining her healthcare needs (or similar statement). I thought from that moment that any insurance company employee who would support such vindictiveness and an obvious attempt to singlehandedly destroy their industry wasn't operating on all cylinders. I still think it because there is no rational reason to turn over the best healthcare system in the world to the federal gov't who has shown a capacity to effectively run anything. Blessings .
